Red the Dog needs a home


Meet Red!



Red is a 2 1/2 year old Redtick Coonhound.  He weighs 70 pounds.  He is a calm and quiet boy both inside and outside of the home.  He has excellent leash manners and loves his long walks and visits to the dog park.  He is very well trained, knowing sit, stay, come, play dead.  He loves his crate and will sleep there without fuss.



Red was found as a starving stray.  He is very timid round anyone new to him.  He needs to be given time to adjust to a new setting, so will need a patient family.  He is a very loyal dog, and once he has attached himself to you he will be your constant companion.  



Red will be best with family with older children or adult only.  He is fine with other dogs, and seems to enjoy smaller dogs the most.  He has met a couple of cats and was curious but didn't show concerning behaviour.  



Red is such a good boy with lots of love to give.  Lets talk and see if he's a match for you!
